Janos M. Schmidt is a freelance photographer based in Budapest, Hungary. 

Since 2003 he has been working for news agencies, newspapers and magazines, 

he also covers sporting events for the International Triathlon Union since 2007. 

He won several awards, especially in the Hungarian Press Photo contest,

                                                 including the prize for best sports feature and the best news picture in 2008.
